Desperately in need of ways to fight and overcome this menace, dish TV providers are sending out electronic counter measure (ECM). These are electronic scramblers which disrupt and block the illegal receivers from transmitting illegal signal waves.

The method has caught on well with the dish network providers. They are also appealing to the customers who are going for these illegal satellite TV channel providers. The pirated versions never have the quality of sound and image that you get in the original version. If you are compromising on sound and image, you might as well not take satellite TV services! Consumers have to realize what they are missing out on when they pick a pirated version.
