What Makes A Good Stag Party Location?
A number of towns and cities in the UK and abroad have a reputation for being a ‘stag destination.’
London, Bournemouth, Cardiff, Newcastle and Newquay have all been dubbed as ‘stag towns,’ whilst Prague, Amsterdam and Magaluf are among the European cities with the same tag.
But what have these places done to earn this reputation? Is it simply because a lot of stags choose to host their party there or is there something more to it? This article suggests what it takes to earn the title of being a ‘stag destination.’
One of the traits of these destinations all appear to have in common is the fact they are all known for hosting a huge range of night clubs. Most ‘stag destinations’ include a strip of pubs and clubs in a single location and, as such, are very popular with tourists, stag and hen parties.
Strip clubs are often popular with stag groups hence why most of the cities dubbed ‘stag destinations’ have their fair share of strip clubs available to choose from as well.
The majority of the locals in these ‘stag towns’ have no such problem with the amount of tourists traveling to their town for a drunken party. In fact, most have a reputation of being party animals themselves.
Cheap accommodation would appear to be another element that most ‘stag destinations’ have in common. Many budget hotels are keen to cash in on the finance generated by stag weekends and will fight tooth and nail to secure a destination near the nightlife in ‘stag destinations.’ Most popular stag venues abroad will also have dirt cheap hostels which are more than happy to host a large group of drunken lads.
Those who are keen for their party to involve loads of night clubs, party animals and cheap accommodation should look no further than the stereotypical ‘stag destinations’ as a venue.
